Am I covered outside my province of residence?
A: Yes. Your insurance policy covers you for 14 days in the USA or
anywhere else for vacations; 90 days in your home country or another country if you are following a training program (except in the US which is limited to 14 days).
Refer to your insurance policy for all specific details. When I go to the doctor's office or an emergency room, do I have to pay upfront?
We can arrange direct billing for you if you call us
prior to seeking medical care. However, some providers may choose not to direct bill us. My wife and children will be joining me in two months.
May I insure
them under my insurance policy?
Yes you can. We will send you an application form that you will need to fill out and sign. Then, return the form with the premium payment to us and we will forward and insurance card to each member of your
family.

What is a deductible?
A deductible is a one time amount deducted from extended benefits.
It is your responsibility upon claiming and it is applied once per policy period. Please refer to your policy to determine if a deductible is applicable.

Call Global Excel and we will open a file and assist you in locating afacility or physician. We ask you to call us each time you see a doctor so we can be aware of your condition and provide you with the necessary

What if it is in the middle of the night on Sunday and I need to see a doctor?
You can call Global Excel any time; we are open 24 hours a day, 7days a week.
Can the pharmacy direct bill with Global Excel?
Unfortunately pharmacies are not set up to direct
bill. You will be required to pay and submit a claim. Refer to the section 'Claiming'.

I have lost my insur
ance identification card,can I obtain a new one?
$5 administrative fee applies to replace an insurance card. Submit a request along with the payment to the address listed in the 'Contact Us' section. We will be pleased to replace your card.
What should I bring when I consult a doctor?
A: Your insurance card or temporary proof of coverage as well as a claim form. Refer to the 'Claiming Section' to have access to our claim
form.
Am I covered for routine dental care or for a emergency tooth ache?
No. The insurance plan is designed to cover emer
gency dental care due to an accidental blow to the mouth only.
Am I covered for vision care?
The plan covers one routine eye examination per 12
months.
